Design of Pipeline Prewarning System through Vibration Monitoring

Abstract: High sensitivity vibration sensors are set on the pipeline wall to detect the special vibration signal, which is caused by the activities of oil-stealing as well as the third-party excavation. Whether the pipeline is threatened by such the activities is concluded in the signal analysis and signal processing made by a delicate embedded system composed of a charge sensitive amplifier, againprogrammed amplifier, a filter circuit, MCU and DSP. The message that the pipeline is threatened transmitted to the control center via the GPRS module. The system has been used on longdistance pipeline for a long time during which the system can give alarm signals in time to protect the pipeline.
